Welcome to the Village of Grand Cane website! We are excited that you took time out to look us up. As you scroll through the site, I think you will be impressed by how much we have to offer. We are the “center” of DeSoto Parish.

I am honored to serve as the Mayor of Grand Cane. It is my mission to see that the Village moves ahead with the changing times. However; I want to maintain the integrity of the historic buildings which is part of our unique history in Grand Cane.

We are a small village in number, but our hearts are big. We strive to make our village one that visitors would love to visit and stay a while. Our citizens are friendly and welcome the opportunity to share with visitors about our history.

When you come see us, consider staying at our local Cook-Hill Bed & Breakfast. We have annual festivals for your enjoyment as well. If you are considering a new business location, we have space available. My staff and I look forward to meeting you and are always ready to help you in any way. We welcome your visit!
