Organizations

The vibrancy of a community comes from the people who comprise it, Mayor Marsha Richardson, the board of Aldermen, and the organizations working together for one common goal. The commitment and enthusiasm begins with those that provide leadership through example and have an ability to choose others from within the community core that shares their commitment to advance the mission of the Village. One person can contribute in more than one area, and areas of involvement can be shared by more than one person. The community leaders and organization members recognize the need to let each other function together in ways that let each do better what each does best. The decision to be innovative, embrace change and take risks when appropriate has advanced the Village of Grand Cane in its mission to move ahead with changing times, but maintain the integrity of the Historic buildings and their unique history.
